Steve Hill has twenty two years of experience in the health care profession. After graduating from Baylor University with Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees, he began his career in hospital administration. The last thirteen years of his career evolved to include the ownership, management, and construction of the South Texas Regional Medical Center, the development and construction of numerous medical office buildings, family health centers, rehabilitation facilities, home health facilities, and hyperbaric centers. Hill retired from hospital operations in November 2001 after selling the South Texas Regional Medical Center to Community Health Systems of Nashville Tennessee; however, he continues to own, operate, and develop various other health care related facilities / projects.

Hill remains a strong advocate of health care related initiatives having served as Past Chairman of the Greater San Antonio Hospital Council, the Alamo Chapter of the Texas Hospital Association, and the South Texas Chapt er of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
